Jawa 1929-Present
 

Jawa was formed in 1929 when Czech arms manufacturer Frantisek Janecek purchased the rights to the German Wander motorcycle.
It grew to be a great producer of motorcycles behind the "Iron Curtain". Though it struggles today it is once again producing motorcycles that do it justice.

Events

Jawaday is now the second Sunday of July every year. It will be held July 13 2008. Visit Jawaday.org for more info.
On the weekend of July 13 2008 a group of North American JAWA/CZ Register members will be in Kamloops Bc for the Jawa Day ride.It is a great weekend of riding encompassing over 200 miles of riding beautifu mountain roads.
